The following four training CDs are available to Family History Centers and Public Libraries. Purchase a single copy of any of the titles and they may be used on any computer in the facility, or placed on a server and used on all computers. PAF Insight by Ohana Software

Ohana Software gives a free FHC site license for PAF Insight to Family History Centers. The FHC license causes the program to act differently than the normal copy. It requires each person to have their own login name and password for the FamilySearch website when the software is used for IGI lookups. To request a free FHC PAF Insight license for your FHC center do the following:

1. Go to www.ohanasoftware.com and click on the BUY link.

2. Enter the name of your Family History Center as the user name.

3. Choose a web password.

4. Enter the name of your FHC as the first name.

5. Enter the three letters FHC as the last name.

6. Include contact information for the FHC, including the center's email address.

7. Under "Action, choose Register Only instead of Purchase Now, and register your FHC.

8. After registering, send an email to sales@ohanasoftware.com including:

Family History Center Name

FHC Unit number

Director's name, email address, and phone number

Number of computers at your Family History Center

9. The FHC license will be sent by email to the FHC director.

PAF Pal 5 by Pal Software

Family History Centers can use PAF Pal on all of their computers after purchasing one copy. To get a FHC license go to www.cannonfamily.com and use the contact information at the bottom of the home page.

GenSmarts by Underwood Innovations

Family History Centers can apply for a free program license as long as they are used on computers physically located in the FHC. Call 847-910-3761 to request a FHC copy of GenSmarts. They will then send you an email with the procedure for downloading the latest registered version, and issue you a User Name and Product Key for program activation. The key is only good for a couple of weeks, but the program enabled on the computer is good as long as it is installed on that computer.

AniMap Plus by Goldbug

Family History Centers may purchase one copy of AniMap from www.Goldbug.com and use it on all of the center's computers.
